Eyes Wide Shut

One of my first tables today was a blind man and a fat wife.
Without a doubt the fat wife would be secure with the blind man.
She doesn't have to put on makeup, brush her hair, maintain her weight, nor fear infidelity because another woman is more beautiful.
A relationship where vanity does not have to exist.
However is she more vain than the rest of us?

Would their relationship be possible under different circumstances?
Would the man not marry because he could see her?
If she were stunningly gorgeous, would she waste her looks with someone who couldn't admire her?
What if he lost his vision partway into the relationship?
What if his vision was regained?

Random Tidbit of Her Brain

All of the cooks at the restaurant are Hispanic. They get a kick out of my Spanish speaking skills.

i often wonder how i would appear [physicaly] if i ever get married
then i wonder how my spouse would look
would i drop any & all aesthetic routines once i get a ring on my finger??
or would i carry on as vainly as ever??
& then i would apply those questions to said spouse

i think it.s a common [but secret] acceptance that we attach ourselves to someone in our "league"
u know, someone decent looking, but not TOO easy on the eyes that passerby would wonder how they ended up with you

i only hope im confident & comfortable enough with myself to not fall into that pattern
or care for that others might be thinking, for that matter
